Sea Point

Sea Point is a sea-side residential suburb situated in Cape Town between Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean. Sea Point is known for its beautiful view of the ocean and Table Mountain. It is one of the main sight-seeing attractions in the mother city, and is home to some of the most sought after real estate in Cape Town. Sea Point is the neighbour of Green Point and Three Anchor Bay, which are also very desirable places to live.

Sea Point was named in 1776 when Sam Willis (a commander) hosted his men in Sea Point to avoid the smallpox epidemic. From then, it began to develop as a residential suburb, and in 1893 it joined with Green Point to form one municipality.

One of Sea Point's most important features is the gorgeous beach-front promenade which runs the length of Sea Point, past Bantry Bay and ending at Mouille Point.  Many locals and tourists use this promenade to jog, stroll with loved ones, cycle, skate and sit on the benches to enjoy the spectacular views. Sea Point beach also has an Olympic-sized sea water pool which local residents have been enjoying for decades.

Sea Point offers many amazing activities-  apart from the breath-taking views and swimming, Sea Point offers outstanding single family homes, luxury apartments, urban entertainment, great music, many of Cape Town's finest restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife. Sea Point is definitely a memorable place, and a very desirable place to live.
