Old Biscuit Mill
The Old Biscuit Mill, located in Salt River, is a local tourist hot spot for finding delicious food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. On
Saturdays, locals from around the city come and set up stalls filled with a
variety of different foods. There is so much to choose from- everything from cheeses to
breads, to pancakes to deserts. It's
a great place to spend a morning in
Cape Town and sample some of our fabulous local cuisine whether it be Indian, Malaysian or South African.
When the food stalls are not set up, the Old Biscuit Mill is a place to explore shops selling post cards, beads and
jewelery. But, it is best known for the Saturday market. On a normal day of the week, the area is pretty quiet, but if you
drive by on a Saturday the area is swarming with people there are people EVERYWHERE and the Biscuit Mill is a great scene...so, drop by and check it out!
